From November 5 to 10, the 7th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as “CIIE”) was held in Shanghai. More than 720 people from 237 enterprises in our city participated in this event. Among them, representatives of 5 enterprises participated in the summit forum, and 8 enterprises participated in the international buyers’ docking exchange meeting.
Longyou Chengang Xuan Paper Co., Ltd. is a “full attendance” enterprise in our city to participate in the CIIE. It has formed a team to participate in each of the seven CIIEs. According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the CIIE consists of the National Comprehensive Exhibition, the Hongqiao International Economic Forum, professional supporting activities and cultural exchange activities. In the Zhejiang Pavilion, the main venue of the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center, three enterprises in our city, including Shao Yongfeng Sesame Cake, Longyou Xuan Paper, and Longyou Shanzhengfang, participated in the CIIE intangible cultural heritage display, among which Shao Yongfeng Sesame Cake participated for the fourth time.
On the afternoon of November 5, representatives of municipal and enterprise governments in our city participated in the CIIE sub-forum activities, the 2024 China Zhejiang-Global Digital Economy and High-tech Industry Summit Docking Meeting. This year’s summit meeting will focus on the fields of digital economy, new productivity, scientific and technological innovation, and build a dialogue and cooperation platform for digital economy enterprises in China and the world. Representatives from our city have participated in the previous six sessions and voiced the Quzhou voice at the forum. In October this year, our city also hosted the “American Businessmen Entering Quzhou” event, one of the supporting activities for Zhejiang Province to participate in this CIIE.
