The 7th China International Import Expo opened in Shanghai yesterday. Yesterday afternoon, at the 2024 China Zhejiang Global Digital Economy and High-tech Industry Summit Matchmaking Conference hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, five companies in the fields of aquatic product processing, grain and oil processing, and high-end aquatic product trade in our city attended the conference.
As one of the 23 supporting activities held by our province at this CIIE, this summit matchmaking conference attracted more than 70 companies, more than 500 guests and representatives from 15 countries. The matchmaking conference brought together a group of global high-end intelligent manufacturing companies, innovatively set up Zhejiang’s key open platforms and resource promotion links, and demonstrated Zhejiang’s development achievements in the fields of cross-border e-commerce and digital trade.
“For our traditional industries, how to transform data and patents into new engines of development is very important.” Zhou Xiaomin, deputy general manager of Zhejiang Xingye Group Co., Ltd., introduced, “This time, our focus is to understand some high-end pharmaceutical equipment in Germany, such as Bard Medical, and hope that the company can find opportunities for industrial grafting and cooperation.”
Ocean Family (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. is a “regular visitor” to the CIIE. “We had in-depth exchanges with Walmart, Omron and other companies at the meeting and gained a lot.” Chen Fangyu, the company’s marketing manager, said that the company is currently actively exploring the digitalization and intelligent upgrading of the fishing, processing and sales ends, and will consider introducing AI technology in the future.
