Recently, the finals of the eighth season of “China Hospital Management Award” were held in Nanjing. The case selected by Jinhua Central Hospital, “Party Building Casts Soul, Clean Hospitals Escort the Safety Line of Medical Insurance Funds”, won the second place in the national party building culture theme track. This is the fourth consecutive year that Jinhua Central Hospital has won the silver award.
“China Hospital Management Award” is one of the most influential awards in the field of hospital management in China. This selection collected 1,894 cases nationwide, covering ten major themes of medical reform and public health, party building culture, scientific and technological innovation, discipline management, quality management, operation management, pharmaceutical management, smart hospitals, nursing management, and logistics management. After the online preliminary evaluation by 1,910 hospital management experts from well-known tertiary hospitals across the country, a group of cases with outstanding management concepts, innovation and scalability were selected. The cases selected by Jinhua Central Hospital were successfully shortlisted for the party-building culture theme finals.
The atmosphere at the finals was lively. The contestants from the Medical Insurance Office of Jinhua Central Hospital described how the hospital carried out corruption risk prevention and control through innovative management methods, further standardized diagnosis and treatment behaviors, reduced the burden of patients seeking medical treatment, and protected the safe use of medical insurance funds from aspects such as organizational structure, hospital-side fund supervision intelligent system and technical module blueprint construction, and won the recognition of the on-site judges.
In recent years, Jinhua Central Hospital has promoted the steady implementation of DRG reform around the three main lines of work of medical insurance operation management, fund supervision and medical insurance services. Relying on digital construction, a precise medical insurance operation management work model is formed to achieve the management goals of quality improvement and cost reduction and efficiency increase; a full-process internal control system is established to ensure the reasonable use of medical insurance funds and improve patients’ medical experience; digital and aging-friendly warm medical insurance services are promoted to make medical insurance management more accurate, the burden on the masses more reasonable, the use of funds safer, and medical insurance services more convenient. Medical insurance management-related projects have won more than 20 national and provincial awards, and have been rated as an advanced unit for medical insurance service standards in hospitals across the country and a provincial demonstration center for refined medical insurance management.
Taking this award as an opportunity, Jinhua Central Hospital will continue to uphold the purpose of “patient-centered, quality-centered, and serving the people wholeheartedly”, constantly explore new models and paths of medical insurance management, and fully tap the positive incentive effect of medical insurance fund use and management on medical services, and promote the high-quality development of the hospital.
