The list of the fifth batch of pollution reduction and carbon reduction collaborative pilot projects and the fourth batch of benchmark projects in Zhejiang Province was announced recently. Two pilot projects in Quzhou City were selected for the fifth batch of pilot projects, and three projects were selected for the fourth batch of benchmark projects.
Among them, Kaihua County and Kecheng District Ecological Industrial Park were selected for the fifth batch of pollution reduction and carbon reduction collaborative pilot projects. Changshan Nanfang Cement Co., Ltd.’s alternative fuel energy-saving and carbon reduction project, the first phase of the technical transformation project of the Daluzhang operation area of Qujiang Port Area of Quzhou Port, an inland river automated green coal distribution base, and Zhejiang Zhefeng Energy Development Co., Ltd.’s industrial waste gas resource comprehensive utilization carbon reduction project were selected for the fourth batch of benchmark projects.
In recent years, based on the actual needs of ecological protection at the source of Qiantang River and the green and low-carbon transformation of the industry, Quzhou City has actively built an ecologically sound pollution reduction and carbon reduction collaborative innovation city with the goal of promoting the continuous improvement of ecological environment quality and the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the economy and society.
So far, a total of 1 city (Quzhou City), 3 counties (Longyou County, Qujiang District, Kaihua County), and 5 parks (Longyou Economic Development Zone, Jiangshan Economic Development Zone, Changshan Economic Development Zone, Kaihua Economic Development Zone, Kecheng Ecological Industrial Park) have been included in the provincial pollution reduction and carbon reduction collaborative pilot list, and 20 projects have been selected as provincial pollution reduction and carbon reduction collaborative benchmark projects.
In the next step, Quzhou City will focus on promoting the synergy and efficiency of pollution reduction and carbon reduction, deepen the construction of a multi-level pollution reduction and carbon reduction collaborative pilot system, accelerate the formation of a number of effective and replicable practical cases, and strive to provide Quzhou experience and models for the whole province.
