This newspaper reported that in the past two years, with the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce, many overseas consumers have chosen to buy Chinese products. How to more efficiently meet the needs of overseas customers and make cross-border “buying, buying, buying” smoother and more convenient, overseas warehouses are indispensable. In Jiaxing Economic Development Zone, there is such a cross-border logistics company-Huanyang International, which has helped cross-border e-commerce companies achieve new breakthroughs in supply chain management and market expansion by setting up overseas warehouses.
Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance announced the list of the ninth batch of provincial overseas warehouses, and Huanyang International’s overseas warehouse in California, USA was successfully selected. Overseas warehouses refer to important new foreign trade infrastructure established overseas with warehousing, sorting, packaging, distribution and other diversified service functions. For cross-border e-commerce companies, with the blessing of overseas warehouses, companies can first transport goods to overseas warehouses for storage through cross-border logistics. After overseas consumers place orders on the platform, they can be shipped directly from overseas warehouses and delivered quickly.
Huanyang International, located in Jiabei Street, was established in 2007. It is a supplier of global transportation, logistics, and supply chain management services approved by the State Post Bureau. It cooperates with logistics service providers in more than 200 countries and regions, and realizes door-to-door and point-to-point full-link cross-border logistics services through traditional air, sea, rail, and European truck train international trunk transportation.
In order to enhance the competitiveness of overseas markets, Huanyang’s US overseas warehouse was officially put into use in May 2023. The warehouse that was awarded the provincial overseas warehouse certification is located in Fontana, with a warehouse area of 6,400 square meters. Its main business is customs clearance and delivery, cabinet disassembly and sorting, return label change, smart warehousing, terminal delivery, and one-piece delivery.
“We can undertake all the business, from customs clearance agency, commodity packaging to overseas warehousing, transportation and distribution.” Yan Jiacao, president of Huanyang International, introduced that Huanyang International currently has two warehouses in California, one in the Fontana area of Los Angeles, and the other near the La Mirada Terminal in Los Angeles. The company also has a nationwide truck delivery and express delivery network, which can provide customers with full delivery services from warehousing to the “last mile”, ensuring that every product can reach the end consumer quickly and safely.
Walking into Huanyang International Jiaxing Transshipment Center, batches of goods are being packaged, labeled, scanned on the assembly line, and stacked in categories. They are about to arrive in the United States across the ocean by sea. “These packages will be sent to the East China Transshipment Center and then shipped out to sea.” Yan Jiacao introduced that the company has 10 transshipment centers of the same size in China, with an average daily processing volume of 400,000 packages. “From the monitoring data, the business volume has increased significantly recently. One reason is that Christmas is coming abroad, and the other is that the contribution of the entire cross-border e-commerce industry to foreign trade is increasing.” Yan Jiacao said that in the next few years, Huanyang International will also focus on the construction of overseas markets. “We now have about 100 sea cabinets serving cross-border e-commerce companies every week, covering more than half of the cross-border e-commerce companies in Jiaxing, and the business volume ranks among the top in the province.”
