The reporter learned from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce yesterday that the 7th China International Import Expo will be held in Shanghai from November 5th to 10th. According to the deployment of the provincial trade delegation, the city’s CIIE trade pre-planning, import procurement, supporting activities and other aspects are being carried out in an orderly manner. At present, 237 companies have been organized and 841 professional buyers have been organized.
During this CIIE, our city will host or participate in the Zhejiang Province Key Import Platform Promotion Conference and the Zhejiang Province Trade Delegation Import Procurement Centralized Signing Ceremony, and the Zhejiang Free Trade Zone Bulk Agricultural Products Supply Chain Sustainable Development Exchange Conference. At the China Zhejiang-Global Digital Economy and High-tech Industry Summit Docking Conference, our city’s Xingye, Ocean Family and other companies will also participate in the conference. At the same time, actively participate in or organize companies to participate in the Zhejiang Free Trade Zone Bulk Agricultural Products Supply Chain Service Special Promotion Activities, Zhejiang Province Cultural Exchange Exhibition Activities, etc. During the conference, relevant companies also actively connected with import leading companies to explore signed trade projects.
In order to participate deeply in this CIIE, our city has established four working groups, including the comprehensive coordination group, the exhibition and investment promotion group, the promotion activity group, and the security guarantee group, to do a good job in various work tasks such as exhibition and investment promotion, promotion, and publicity.
The China International Import Expo, which has been successfully held for six consecutive years, has continuously improved the quality of the exhibition, its strategic role has become increasingly prominent, its international influence has become more extensive, and the functions of the four major platforms of international procurement, investment promotion, cultural exchanges, and open cooperation have been highlighted, and the comprehensive spillover effect has been continuously amplified.
It is understood that during the past six CIIEs, our city has organized a total of 1,437 procurement companies, with an intended procurement transaction volume of more than US$4.25 billion; successfully held 7 special promotion activities for investment promotion, and participated in the concentrated signing activities of major foreign investment projects in Zhejiang Province for five consecutive sessions, with a total investment of more than US$1.75 billion in signed projects.
